Villa Palace Amina is a walled estate at kilometre 9 of the Fes road, north east of Marrakech. The grounds are planted with olive and palm trees and hold two bodies of water: a large free form pool beside the lawn, crossed by a wrought iron footbridge, and a lap pool lined with polychrome zellige running along the main entrance. The house follows the register of the big Marrakech residences: ochre walls, a carved wooden front door under chiselled plaster, a patio with a zellige fountain. The salons are furnished Moroccan style, low banquettes and rugs, one of them with a fireplace. The bedrooms are built around four poster beds, wrought iron or dark wood, with carved furniture. A fitted gym takes up one ground floor room. The estate sits outside the city. Plan on a car or a private transfer to reach Gueliz or the Medina, some fifteen kilometres away. Menara airport is 15 km out. The house is taken over privately for an event: a wedding, a birthday, a seminar. The owner arranges decoration, lighting, catering and entertainment on site, plus other services on request. For an event, count on a three-night minimum. The accommodation rate varies with the length of stay, the number of people staying and the time of year; for an event an extra is added, adjusted to the number of guests and the services chosen. A booking is confirmed once a 50 % deposit on the total has been paid. Bedroom count, capacity and floor area have still not been given to us, and the rate is agreed case by case: message us on WhatsApp and we come back with what the owner confirms.
