Marrakech for long stays: why it works as a base
Marrakech has everything needed for a stay of several months without boredom or logistical headaches. The climate is a major draw: mild in autumn, sunny in winter (pleasant temperatures of 15–20 °C in January), warm but dry in spring. It is one of the most popular destinations among digital nomads and European snowbirds escaping northern winters from November to March. The cost of living is lower than in major European cities, with a wide choice of restaurants, cafés, neighbourhood markets and supermarkets.
Logistics hold up well: the Marrakech TGV high-speed rail station connects to Casablanca in under 2 h 15 (onward connections to Rabat and the Atlantic coast). Marrakech-Ménara international airport serves many European capitals with direct flights. The three Hivernage apartments in the collection are 300 metres from the TGV station. Fibre 100 Mb internet is available in certain apartments (notably Vue d'Exception & Jacuzzi — Majorelle, which also has a dedicated workspace); others have residential Wi-Fi.

Which neighbourhood for a long stay?
Guéliz and Hivernage are the most practical neighbourhoods for daily life: supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, transport. Hivernage also offers proximity to the TGV station (300 m for our apartments). The Menara neighbourhood is quieter and more residential — ideal for families or a greener retreat. The Medina is attractive but less practical for a long stay without a car.
